Hi, I’m Heather.

Growing up on the Oregon coast I spent my summers at Little beach, which is on the cusp between Seaside and Gerhart. I spent hours playing with my sister, creating ‘houses’ on the tree stumps that floated in their own little tide pools. At night, I’d fall asleep to the distant waves of Mama Ocean, and the feel of sand in my bed.

I moved up to the Seattle area after high school to become a massage therapist. I lived on Vashon Island, a magical island full of artists and open-hearted people.

I’ve been a massage therapist since 1995, and for the last ten years, have taken a break to have a family. Years later, I took a pottery class. I felt my heart explode with such joy! Working with clay brings me to a place of oneness with Spirit, the vast inner landscape that weaves the world around me. I am truly amazed to find that this connection is the same vastness I tap into doing massage. Working with my hands and heart.  I am thankful to Mother Earth for creating this ancient clay for me to create with. I hope you enjoy my work! It is so much fun, and such a blessing!

When I’m not in the studio, you’ll usually find me in the kitchen cooking, out in the garden, planning our next family adventure, or hosting a cozy dinner party. Most of all, I’m soaking up every moment of being a mom—because wow, life moves fast! Clay holds me in the moment.
